Personal Information (on Credit Report)

The name/address/employment data on a credit report — frequently a source of mixed-file errors.

The personal information section of a credit report includes: legal name, current and past addresses, SSN (last 4), date of birth, current and past employment. Errors signal mixed-file problems — when two consumers' credit data has been merged.

Disputable: old addresses you never lived at, employers you never worked for, name variations that don't belong to you.
